1. What is QikAppoint?QikAppoint is a real-time, AI-powered doctor appointment booking platform that connects patients with healthcare providers instantly. It allows users to search for doctors by specialty, location, ratings, and availability, and book appointments in under 60 seconds—all from their phone or computer.
2. Is QikAppoint free to use for patients?
Yes! QikAppoint is completely free for patients. You pay nothing to search, browse, or book appointments. You only pay the standard consultation fee directly to the doctor or clinic at the time of your visit. We never charge hidden fees or booking commissions to patients
3. How does QikAppoint work?
Simply visit our website or download our mobile app, enter your location and medical specialty, browse through verified doctors, check their real-time availability, select a slot, and confirm. You’ll receive an instant confirmation via email and SMS with all the details of your appointment.
4.Do I need to create an account to book?
You can browse without an account, but to book an appointment, you will need to create a free account. This allows us to save your preferences, send reminders, store your medical history securely, and provide a personalized experience. Registration takes less than 2 minutes.
5. How quickly can I get an appointment?
With QikAppoint, you can often find same-day or next-day appointments, depending on doctor availability. Our real-time system shows you the earliest available slots instantly, so you never have to wait days for a callback or confirmation.
6.Can I book appointments for my family members?
Absolutely! You can book appointments for your children, elderly parents, or any family member from your single QikAppoint account. Simply add their profiles under “Family Members” in your dashboard and select them when booking.
7. Can I choose a specific doctor or hospital?
Yes. You can filter your search by doctor name, hospital name, clinic location, specialty, years of experience, languages spoken, gender preference, and even patient ratings. You have full control over who you book with.
8. What if my preferred time slot is not available?
If your preferred slot is booked, QikAppoint will show you the next available times from that same doctor or suggest similar doctors nearby with open slots. You can also join a waitlist, and we’ll notify you immediately if a cancellation opens up
9. Can I book telemedicine/video consultations?
Yes! Many doctors on QikAppoint offer virtual consultations. Simply filter your search by “Video Visit” or “Telemedicine.” After booking, you’ll receive a secure video link via email and SMS—no extra downloads or software required.
10. How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
You can cancel or reschedule directly from your QikAppoint dashboard or through the link provided in your confirmation and reminder emails. Changes are reflected instantly in the doctor’s calendar. Please try to cancel at least 2 hours in advance to avoid any late-cancellation fees imposed by the clinic.
11. Is there a cancellation fee?
QikAppoint does not charge cancellation fees. However, some clinics may have their own policies for late cancellations or no-shows. This will be clearly mentioned during the booking process and in your confirmation email. We always encourage you to cancel early out of courtesy to other patients.
12. What happens if my doctor cancels?
If your doctor cancels for any reason, we will notify you immediately via SMS and email. Our system will automatically suggest alternative slots with the same doctor or recommend similar specialists nearby. You can rebook in seconds at no extra cost.
13. Is my personal and medical information safe?
Absolutely. QikAppoint is fully compliant with global data protection regulations including HIPAA (USA) and GDPR (Europe). All your data—including medical history, contact details, and payment information—is encrypted using bank-grade security. We never share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.
14. What if I forget my password?
No problem! Click on “Forgot Password” on the login page, enter your registered email, and we’ll send you a secure link to reset your password within seconds. If you face any issues, our support team is available 24/7 to assist you.
15. Is there a mobile app for QikAppoint?
Yes! QikAppoint is available as a native mobile app for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). The app offers all the features of our website plus push notifications, biometric login, and offline access to your upcoming appointments.
